Hello, I’m Peter, the person behind Peter Out and About.

I’m passionate about keeping people across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire informed about what’s happening in their communities. From breaking news and road closures to local events, business stories and community achievements, I’m always looking for the stories that matter to local people.

My aim is simple: to keep the community informed, celebrate local success and shine a spotlight on the people, businesses and organisations that make the North East such a fantastic place to live and work.

No two days are ever the same. One day I might be reporting on a charity fundraiser, the next attending a community event, covering local traffic issues or visiting a business with an inspiring story to tell.
